Plans for the new year

Well, it's New Year's Eve. Gosh, hasn't 2007 flown by like a flash? Do you have plans this year?

Last year, we went to our church's NYE get together. We figured it was pretty safe, and we had lots of fun chatting, playing games, watching movies and spending time with friends. I kept waiting for this year's party, but no announcement was ever made, so I took the bull by the horns and planned it myself. With Pastor's permission, of course!

So tonight, I'm hosting the Journey Covenant Church's party. We're having yummy foods, good movies in the sanctuary (kids piling on pillows with blankets in case they fall asleep), Guitar Hero in the Youth Room, board games scattered throughout. At midnight, we'll sing in the new year in the coffee shop, with sparkling juice to toast.

I think it's going to be fun, and I'm really blessed that my pastor trusts me with this, because he is not even in state.
