Nice

Yesterday was election day in Liberty.  I fully supported David Camerlinck. His wife, Sherilyn, and I were best friends in college and our close friendship continues today.  David is intelligent, well spoken, and knowledgeable in our district.  Plus, he's and educator AND he has kiddoes in the district. I thought he'd be perfect for the position.  Unfortunately, it wasn't to be.  If he ever decides to run again, I will throw my support behind him. I enjoyed introducing my boys to the fun part of campaigning!  We held signs up and talked to people at the polling location. They did a really great job. I have pictures!

*add pictures*  (two really cute pictures coming as soon as I can get them loaded)

I also (finally) got my CPAP yesterday. It's pretty easy to use and there's definitely enough tubing for me to roll around at night. I have still been yawning a lot, but I do feel more rested.  I know that sounds weird, but it's true.  My head feels clearer.  I actually fell asleep well before 11;00 last night, which is very unusual for me. I'm really looking forward to catching up on all the sleep I've missed over the last several years, and getting to where I'm not so darned exhausted all the time.

Hubby's been out of town, but he heads back today. I can't wait to see him again!

We had a heck of a storm last night.  It went on and on.  Lots of rain, lightening, thunder, and even some hail. Welcome to spring in Kansas City! It's almost cool today, very nice, and none of the mugginess we had yesterday.  HOnestly, it was just thick air. Not fun at all.

Ball season is in full swing!  Emily had catching lessons on Wednesdays, and team practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. She is on a semi competitive 18 and under team, the All Starz. We couldn't find a 16U team for her.  Matt is on the 12U competitive Rockies again.  This is his 3rd season with this team.  They have hitting practice on Wednesdays.  He's supposed to go Tuesdays, but he has dance. Saturdays are his other practice.  Mikey is on the 9U competitive Rockies.  He's been taking pitching lessons, and can throw a fastball. He hasn't started practice yet.

Students are finishing their tests.  I better run!
